The Tate South Lambeth Library has a programme of regular events for all ages and interests.
Internet access is available at the library:
Six terminals. Can be booked, by phone or in person, for 30 minute periods. No
charge.
Terminals cannot be used for email or downloading and filtering software is
installed, blocking certain sites.

This plaque, or foundation stone, set into the wall to the right of the Tate South Lambeth Road Library entrance, records the donation of the site and library to Lambeth Libraries Commissioners in 1887.
Henry Tate, whose wealth came from the sugar industry, also provided financial support to establish the Tate Gallery, Tate Library Brixton, and Tate Library Streatham.
