The main entrance to St. Michael's Church is on Stockwell Park Road, opposite the turning to Lorn Road.
The church, dating from 1841, survived extensive damage done to the area by a flying bomb in World War II. The bomb damage resulted in the area opposite the church being cleared for Slade Park, and more recently a children's adventure playground.
The church hall is accessed via the rear entrance on Stockwell Park Crescent.
The need for major repairs and restoration work at the Church is now in evidence. To make private contributions or to obtain details of the works involved and the monies so far raised, please contact .
