STOCKWELL PARK RESIDENTS' ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE MEETING

Tuesday 15th June 2004 at 29 Stockwell Park Crescent

PRESENT

Anthony Gladstone-Thompson, Roberta Bonometti, Peter Conradi, Simon Doff, Maria Gotley, Liz Aves, Caroline Hirst, Amanda Cornish.

AGM

Voted a success. Minutes of AGM checked for detail. Peter Conradi kindly offered to print them for distribution. Thank you, Caroline, for taking AGM minutes.

LORN ROAD GARAGES

Parking problems no better. Simon will email Paul McCann's details to Peter and Roberta and Paul will be asked to act.

JULIE FAWCETT

Caroline will give Anthony list of people present at AGM so he can link Julie Fawcett to the people who volunteered to help with her work.

AGM bar raised £40.

SUMMER EVENTS

Concert

KEY

Anthony will try to get key to Stockwell Park Road side alley gates.

LICENCE

Licence for concert has been obtained by Anthony. From now on small concerts in churches (such as ours) will not require a licence.

SELLING CONCERT TICKETS

Anthony and Simon will be set up and selling tickets from 6.30 p.m. on Saturday.

PRECONCERT DRINKS

Amanda and Martin Kenyon from 6.45 onwards.

INTERVAL DRINKS

Amanda, Martin, Anthony, Simon, Liz, Ray - everyone who's free to prevent a queue building up.

LENGTH OF INTERVAL

Amanda to ask Martin and/or Carole if one of them could announce at interval time that there will be a 20 minute break for a drink and to enjoy the flower festival. After 20 minutes, could there be a bell or piano chord to start second half.

WASHING UP THE GLASSES

Roberta and Maria volunteered to help. Glasses needed again for Sunday barbecue.

Barbecue

Anthony will ask Stephanie/Mark for key to side gate and check on barbecue machine.

Amanda will tell playgroup re: Festival in case hall/ kitchen is needed.

Anthony will get some black bags for rubbish after teas/barbecue.

Agreed to charge £1 per glass for sparkling mineral water.

Meat order: 50 burgers and 75 sausages/long rolls and round rolls. Squidgy mustard and tomato ketchup. £1 a piece. Anthony will ask Sophie re: buying the meat but, if difficult for her, he will go to Sainsburys.

Gardens

Simon gave Amanda £30 float for each garden and £40 for the teas.

Planning/Environment

Hall too noisy at weekends especially in Summer with doors open. To be discussed with Father Andrew and Christopher Chitty.
