8th Lambeth Scouts
The Scout group - Beavers (6-8), Cubs (8-10), and Scouts (10-14) - meet at St Michael's Church Hall on Friday evenings from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
Their activities include archery, hiking and climbing with the older children and they have use of an expansive wooden cabin near South Godstone. They often have cook-in nights at the hall and carry out the complete scouting programme.
The 8th Lambeth Group has been established at St. Michael's Church, Stockwell, since 1909 when it was formerly know as 'The Stockwell Troop' Captain Mastermans Own.
The next nearest Scout group in the Lambeth District is either at Vauxhall or Streatham.
