Ed Dicker said (18/2/03): "My friend and I spent last week in London. Every night ended in the Canton Arms. (We stayed at the Comfort Inn several blocks away). The barmaids were very nice and friendly. (Karen and "B") The pub had a great local crowd with awesome food and ale. We had a great time and hated leaving!!!"
The landlords (James & Bill) say: "The Canton Arms used to be a dive, but after a beautiful refurbishment it now has a relaxing modern / traditional feel. Friendly staff serve up fantastic food for brunch, lunch, or supper.e.g. Eggs Benedict or Full English, Steak and Ale Pie, big Sunday Roasts etc. It is equally a great place to chill out with a Cuban cigar and some classic real ales or to hit the cocktails and shooters on a Friday night. Sport can be shown at any time, but the big screen comes down for big matches, in particular international rugby. A beer garden will be opening for the summer."
